At M R, Ethical Trading and Social Responsibility go hand in hand. We are committed to the communities we operate in both in the UK and overseas. We are working hard to implement socially responsible activities and identify any areas for improvement.

We support fair trade and have carefully selected suppliers who comply with our ethical trading policy, which sets out the minimum labour standards

• Employment is freely chosen
• Working conditions are safe and hygienic
• Child Labour is not used (Child means below the age of 14 years old, unless local minimum age law stipulates a higher age of work or mandatory schooling, in which case the high age shall apply)
• Wages and benefits meet the minimum standard.
• Working hours are not excessive.
• No discrimination is practised.
• Human and Civil Rights are respected.
• All employees and sub-contractor workers are treated equally, regardless of gender, ethnic group, religion or political opinions.

We’re committed to long term relationships with all of our suppliers and pay them fair prices. We regularly visit our suppliers to monitor all aspects of the supply chain including, quality, packaging, fair working conditions, general employment practices & child labour is not used at any supply process.

We aim to deliver products, which are manufactured to the highest technical and ethical standards.

Our suppliers meet our requirement to have ISO 9001:2008 Quality Assurance accreditation in place.
